Ergospirometry is a diagnostic method that combines spirometry (measurement of lung function) and ergometry (measurement of effort performance) to assess the function and metabolism of the cardiopulmonary system during exertion. It is particularly useful for assessing functional status in cardiopulmonary disease and for evaluating unclear shortness of breath.

This non-invasive test evaluates the body's response to physical activity and provides valuable information to assess conditions such as suspected coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension and effort-triggered asthma. It is an excellent method for assessing the ability and training strategy of athletes.

Nocturnal Respiratory Registration (NAR) at home involves a 20-minute visit to eHeart where you pick up the equipment and receive instructions on how to use it. You return the equipment to us the morning after you collect it.

An ordinary spirometry is performed first. After that, the drug Mannitol is given, which is used to diagnose hyperreactivity of the bronchi.
