The heart in focus, the human at the center

“We want you as a patient to be fully aware of your health and possible risks. There is an old proverb that says “It's better to sit in the river than in the river.” This means that it is easier to prevent a problem than to fix what is broken.

We find the risks in time
To keep you safe, we conduct proactive checks. We look for early signs of heart disease or risk of stroke. If we find hidden risks in our tests, we work with you to reduce them right away.

Quick help when needed most
For those of you who already have a cardiovascular disease, or who feel unwell, we act immediately. We know that everything else stops when you're worried about your life. Therefore, we prioritize timely diagnosis and treatment.

Our Promise to You
Our team is working hard to make sure you see a doctor the same day. We'll let you know quickly so you can let go of your worries and focus on what's most important: living your life to the fullest.”

ISO certified quality and safety

eHeart is double certified under ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 27001:2022 (information security) — a combination that is very unusual in private cardiac care in Sweden.

We have chosen to go one step further, ISO certification requires significant resources — both time, skills and financial commitment. Many health care providers choose not to make the investment. We made a different choice. We believe that as a patient, you deserve evidence, not just promises. That's why we've spent hundreds of man-hours building systems that ensure we keep what we promise.

For you as a patient, this means:
Systematic quality at every step
From your first booking to follow-up after survey — every process is documented, reviewed and continuously improved. ISO 9001 guarantees that you receive the same high quality of care every time, no matter when you visit us.
Your data is safe with us
With ISO 27001 certification, your journal information is protected according to international standards for information security. We have systematic processes in place to prevent data breaches and ensure full GDPR compliance.
Annual external audit
ISO certification is not a one-time effort. Every year we undergo independent audits where external auditors check that we comply with the standards. This ensures that we never lower the bar but are constantly working on improvements.
Why ISO certification?
Undergoing ISO certification requires significant resources — hundreds of man-hours, extensive documentation, and external review. Many choose not to make that investment. We made a different choice. We believe that as a patient, you deserve evidence, not just promises.

History — eHeart through the years

eHeart is founded to finance and develop medical technology.
The inaugural project is EchoReporter, a software designed to support medical professionals in their analysis of ultrasound images of the heart, lungs and blood vessels. This pioneer spirit is at the core of eHeart's DNA today.
Continued development of EchoReporter and technical infrastructure.
The team is working intensively to refine the EchoReporter platform and build the technical foundation for future healthcare operations. Partnership talks are initiated with healthcare providers in the Stockholm region.
Under the leadership of Dr. Reidar Winter, eHeart begins to offer care to patients in the Stockholm region.
With its background in university hospitals, Reidar strives to combine high-quality care with the patient experience possible in a small clinic. eHeart supports other healthcare providers in the Stockholm region, including Södertälje, and begins construction of the clinic at Hötorget, Norrmalm, Stockholm. The development of EchoReporter continues.
eHeart invests in advanced equipment and builds a team of specialists.
The clinic at Hötorget is fully established and begins to offer cardiac diagnostics to both Region Stockholm and private patients. The focus is on fast availability without compromising medical quality.
The Covid-19 pandemic — eHeart is gearing up to help.
In April 2020, the team shifts focus to fighting Covid-19. With funding from philanthropists, eHeart buys antigen tests and donates services to test 12,000 healthcare workers in Stockholm. Despite the pandemic, the core business of cardiac diagnostics continues.
eHeart moves to Sophiahemmet in Norra Djurgården, Stockholm.
The new facility provides opportunities for expansion and collaboration. eHeart continues to serve private patients directly and also offers Sophiahemmet's other caregivers cardiac and other diagnostic services. Operations expanded to include sleep apnea diagnostics and treatment. Investments in in-house technology are accelerating to manage the growing business.
Rapid growth and international team.
eHeart is growing strongly to meet increasing demand from both patients and healthcare providers. Significant investments are made in modern equipment, digital infrastructure and, above all, in the team. Members from many different countries join, and the clinic can now offer care in Swedish, English, Finnish, Spanish, Hungarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish and Persian.
Establishment of Engelbrektskliniken and certification work begins.
eHeart is opening a second clinic at Östermalmsgatan 47 (Engelbrektskliniken) to increase accessibility in central Stockholm. Work is underway to implement ISO standards for quality management (ISO 9001) and information security (ISO 27001) — a major effort that requires extensive process and system documentation.
Focus on advanced and high-quality specialist care.
Today, eHeart is a healthcare provider that specializes in providing advanced and high-quality care. We welcome patients who have private health insurance or who choose to pay directly for their care. We continue to invest in time- and labor-saving technologies to enable our clinicians to spend as much time as possible doing what we're good at: caring for you.
The ISO certification process is being intensified.
eHeart begins the intensive final stage of ISO certification work according to both ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 27001:2022 (information security). Extensive process and system documentation is carried out, and the entire organization prepares for the external audits. With two clinics in Stockholm and a growing team of specialists, eHeart continues to offer fast access to high-quality cardiac care.
